Emergency Preparedness

Suspected Child Abuse:

• Each person who suspects that a child is being abused or neglected MUST report his or her suspicion to Department of Children and Family 
• The name of the person making the report is kept confidential. People who make reports later found to be unsubstantiated, are immune from criminal prosecution
• Report any suspicions of abuse/neglect to you, inform Head of School, school counselor, and school nurse
• Follow up on suspected abuse/neglect

Sexual Assault: 

• Inform Head of School’s office immediately upon notification that there has been a sexual assault
• Notify the police immediately
