Emergency Preparedness

Student Missing During School Hours:

• Inform Head of School’s’s office as soon as student is discovered missing
• Ascertain from friends of the student if they know of the students’ whereabouts or of any plans the student may have made
• Keep head of school/admins informed of any new information

• Be aware of custodial issues involving your students and pay particular attention to times when abduction may be likely. Inform school secretary and recess monitors of change of custody situations
• Inform Head of School’s office immediately if you are aware of concerns that a party picking-up a student by someone other than custodial parent/guardian
• Notify the police immediately
